 Who We Are

RANGE 144-1 is a family-centered community, comprised of individuals from different backgrounds who acknowledge the need for more ranges that offer functional training to every responsible firearm owner. We are your coworkers, neighbors, friends, family and faith family. We believe that as long as there's evil there should be a place dedicated to fighting against its spread. We are in the business of preparedness and aim to equip responsible firearm owners with the skills necessary to defend themselves and others.

Our Mission

Mission Statement: We seek to train and equip discerning firearm owners with the necessary skills to react and defend themselves from violent criminal attacks.

It is the expressed mission of RANGE 144-1 to create and cultivate a deep and meaningful relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

We accomplish this mission by funding both sides of the war. We contribute to a number of prison ministries, reaching inmates with Bibles and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we contribute to Law Enforcement Survivor Charities to show the Gospel of Jesus Christ and fulfilling our obligations as evident by James 1:27.

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world” James 1:27

  Our Purpose

The purpose of Range 144-1 is to provide an outdoor range to acquire, assess, and enhance dynamic shooting skills. We acknowledge the marksmanship fundamentals are vital to engaging targets and there are many ranges that offer this activity. However, we strongly believe that without proper functional training, those alone will not serve well in an actual shoot situation. With the real and current threat of active shooters and extremely violent crimes, a need for confidently armed citizens is growing. RANGE 144-1 seeks to enable all responsible persons to become proficient in personal protection and defense of the ones they love. RANGE 144-1 is committed to offering a safe and secure environment for customers to practice life-saving skills. We believe it is crucial for everyone who will carry a firearm in self-defense also carry realistic training with that firearm for the defense of self.

What is the significance of 144-1?

Our name comes directly from Psalm 144:1, a Psalm of David. "Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle".

Constitutional Carry and Training

With the passing of Constitutional Carry in Florida, the need for proper training can NOT be overstated! This is the responsible and morally just thing to do when you introduce a firearm into your daily life. These weapons are very powerful, even down to the lowest caliber and can inflict a lot of damage to soft tissue and cause fatal injury. Being a gun owner should always be proceeded by the word, responsible. The Concealed Carry class and/or Basic Firearms Introduction class should be conducted prior to purchasing a firearm and ammunition. Failure to take proper training can lead to disastrous consequences that are life-altering.  Training will no doubt educate and empower you in the exercising of your 2nd Amendment rights.
